Calvin Klein Ck Women Eau de Parfum
Details
Calvin Klein, who was discovered as a perfumer very late in France, proved to be a craftsman of grunge rock fragrances always very ahead of his time. Each of his perfumes always tells a story of an era and Women eau de parfum is obviously no exception.
Fully anchored in the 2018 tradition of an independent and strong woman, far from the still fatal woman of the 90s, Women tells of this new femininity that accepts the very idea of being plural. Gone is the obligation to be floral and delicate, although the bottle of Calvin Klein Women is still in its anthological pearly pink.
Composed by two great perfumers, Honorine Blanc and Annick Ménardo, Women certainly draws from flowers, but will seek a welcome wild fresh and woody touch. Thus, orange blossom is preferred to more classic bouquets, and the head of this eau de parfum carries us away in an icy eucalyptus that stings black pepper and unexpected lemon. The start is spontaneous, young, daring, probably the image of what women would be today. The heart is tender. Magnolia, orange blossom and jasmine absolute reassure our sense of smell: the woman remains delicate and loving.
For the sensual aspect, Women will innovate and borrow olfactory notes traditionally associated with male perfumery. At least for the most "commercial" fragrances. Here, no warm and powdery furrow. Calvin Klein opts for a mix of Alaskan cedar, olibanum and ambroxan that form a very dynamic woody and luminous trio.
The woman is certainly sensual, but not for someone else, she is by and for herself and all her seduction is done by this anchored and fully conscious personality.
