Elie Saab Girl of Now Eau de Parfum
Details
Elie Saab has launched an eau de parfum for women inspired by the scents of Lebanon. In a sumptuous case openly designed to be an opulent jewel, the perfumer distills an oriental-floral with notes of gourmand almonds. Girl of Now tells the story of a mixed-race, exploratory youth, full of life and eager for sweet delights.
Clearly oriented for young active women, this luminous fragrance is sophisticated in both its composition and its bottle. Dominique Ropion and Sophie Labbe, who are the noses behind this bouquet, propose a very sweet opening with notes of tangerine, pear and pistachio, almost candied. The heart takes up this idea with orange blossom and magnolia, on a touch of almond that recalls the sweetness of the pistachio at the top. Still on the idea of pastry, like a macaroon crunched on the fly, Girl of Now ends on notes of Patchouli and Cashmere Wood forming the dress of this delicacy, where the tonka bean and almond milk finish offering the senses an intoxicating juice. The whole is reminiscent of a kind of gap taken in a luxury bakery, a small excess that we offer ourselves, ignoring the consequences.
This is the kind of woman Elie Saab wants to tell us about in Girl of Now, a modern woman with no hang-ups who doesn't hesitate to give herself pleasure and enjoy all its flavors.
The round, jewel-like bottle is adorned with a blue enamel and gold flower inspired by Elie Saab collections.
