A new freshness in a woody aquatic fragrance for men Composed of 95% ingredients of natural origin and French alcohol, Le Sel d'Issey is a fresh, woody aquatic fragrance. A vegan fragrance in which the power of salt is revealed through intense, masculine woody notes. With this new eau de toilette, perfumer Quentin Bisch has succeeded in making salt smell odorless. In a journey from sea to land, this vibrant fragrance is revealed through two olfactory poles. The salty pole embodies the sea through a lively salt accord. Naturally-occurring seaweed blends with oakmoss, a seaweed that has migrated to earth, creating a link with the fragrance's second olfactory pole. Enhancing the freshness of the salt accord, sparkling ginger notes accompany the woody pole. The woody notes reveal their intensity to give body and texture to the fragrance. Natural sand vetiver blends with natural cedarwood, an upcycled ingredient derived from sawdust from furniture manufacturing. The invigorating interplay between the salty and woody poles enhances the fragrance's raw, powerful masculinity. A sleek, designer perfume bottle The timeless, sleek perfume bottle captures the light and power of salt. The bottle's creator, internationally renowned designer Yokujin Yoshioka, has already collaborated directly with Mr. Miyake, exploring the crystallization process. The perfume's light grey tone is visible through the transparent bottle, which is made from 20% recycled glass*, and recalls the salt at the heart of the fragrance. At the bottom of the bottle, a half-sphere symbolizes strength and masculinity. *Packaging (bottle excluding cap) made with at least 20% recycled materials (glass). In harmony with the fragrance, the case is finished in a natural gray hue evoking the purity of salt, while the matte surface echoes the texture of salt crystals. For the first time, the case contains 10% upcycled algae, as well as materials from well-managed FSC™-certified forests and other controlled resources.
