Gender Neutral Fragrances

Although there really are no rules when it comes to perfumery, and everyone is totally free to choose their own preferences, so-called "mixed" perfumes have emerged.

In other words, fragrances that are equally suitable for men and women. Generally based on spicy or woody notes, these fragrances are suitable for everyone. Really? Well, there's one caveat: while perfumers obviously take great care to offer original eaux that are paradoxically perfect for everyone, we feel that it all depends on your tastes... and your skin.

Choosing a fragrance requires curiosity, time and audacity. Some women, for example, wear men's fragrances admirably, and vice versa. Strange? No, it's just that certain notes in the blend suit their skin type, their own natural scent.

And it's a question of style, too. What do you want your fragrance to say? What personality do you want to bring out? What trail do you want to leave?

So why give in to the call of a unisex fragrance? Two possible reasons: olfactory ambiguity, which is fun to play with, if not electrifying, and the possibility of sharing your fragrance with your partner.

The idea of a shared perfume can be interesting, but of course, it will require you to research and test fragrances, a bit like a building set to discover your couple's scent.
