To mark this exceptional occasion, the House unveils Shalimar L'Essence, an intense variation that concentrates the distinctive codes of Shalimar: its quintessence. A tribute to the modernity, audacity and eternal seduction of Guerlain's most famous feminine fragrance.

More than a fragrance, Shalimar L'Essence is a declaration of love. Delphine Jelk, Creative Director of Fragrances Guerlain, declares her love for this icon of the House's heritage, and in particular for its most emblematic note, the keystone of its trail: vanilla. Delphine Jelk adds the precious Madagascar vanilla tincture from Guerlain's ancestral know-how to the ethylvanillin present in Jacques Guerlain's original formula, to give Shalimar a new intensity without altering its signature.

Discreet and subtle, bergamot illuminates the floral heart that combines rose absolute with the powdery elegance of iris. Gradually, Shalimar's amber unfolds, deeper than ever. Vanilla, used in overdose, breathes new facets into Shalimar, at once suave, woody and slightly leathery.

For Shalimar L'Essence, Guerlain reinterprets the logo of its iconic bottle. A nod to Art Deco, Shalimar's contemporary artistic movement. Assembled into a bold, graphic logo, the letters are worked in a golden hue reminiscent of the juice itself. Both rooted in its history and resolutely contemporary, the iconic bottle builds a bridge between the eternal Shalimar and the Shalimar of tomorrow.
