Details

CORIANDRE is a daring creation that plays on the contrast between warm and fresh notes.
At first, its invigorating freshness surprises with its slightly masculine facet. Then Coriandre blossoms and gives, after drying, a soapy effect on the skin evolving towards a powdery, very spicy trace, with delicate, luminous and airy floral touches that fly over the woody and musky green of the fragrance.

Jean Couturier

Jean Couturier entered the small world of Haute Couture in 1945, although his name remains associated with Perfumery. An outstanding salesman, he was recruited by many fashion designers to launch their perfumes, including Azzaro and then Yves Saint Laurent, whom he joined to help create YSL Parfums. While his wife, Jacqueline Couturier, was embarking on a career as a "nose" in Grasse, she presented him with one of her creations in the hope of being chosen by YSL. This creation was called Coriandre, and Jean Couturier resigned and founded their own perfume house with his wife in 1972.
